Threads are CNC Turned - Not Rolled. While thread cold rolling is common practice by leading brands, it's a production and cost saving practice. To the Extreme in quality just the same. However, 4451ASR Studs are not production. Therefore, we can afford to turn or grind the threads giving more lead options and better thread loading features. Thread cold rolling is used for some of the strongest threads humans make but is only another way to make high quality threads.
